An evening on shared history, the dangers of hate and division, and what meaningful solidarity can look like in Montclair and beyond.
At a time of rising antisemitism, racism, and political polarization, this forum will explore the historic relationship between Black and Jewish communities, the challenges both communities face today, and the importance of rebuilding trust, partnership, and civic unity.
Together, Bishop Reginald Atkins and Rabbi Marc Katz will discuss the shared history of Black and Jewish coalition-building, the dangers of hate and division, and the work of strengthening solidarity across Montclair and beyond.
